It is also used in Tooth Pastes, mouth washes and similar oral preparations. Menthol also serves for the flavoring of candies And chewing gums. Separately from the addition of a perfume to certain cosmetic products, Menthol may Be added to introduce a cooling effect in shave creams, after-shave lotions etc.
