Our Company had gone through different phases from 1982 till date. During this period, we have increased our manufacturing capacity many fold by introducing State of Art technology in the manufacturing of Menthol and Peppermint Oil. The sequence of events at our Company are listed as below :
1.1970 : India’s first Mint Crop distillation facility came up at Sambhal with total 4 tanks, each can hold one full truck load of Mint Crop for distillation.
2.1971 : At Sambhal, 3 more tanks were added to increase distillation capacity. Also, Mr. Subhash Nanda developed his own process to manufacture Menthol.
3.1973 : By April, Menthol manufacturing facility shifted from Sambhal to New Delhi and started 2000 kilos of Menthol every month.
4.1974 : The Company selected a new site called CHAMRAUWA in Rampur and a new Mint Crop distillation facility with 8 tanks capacity were started. Menthol manufacturing capacity at Delhi increased from 2000 kgs to 5000 kilos per month.
5.1976 : Two more new sites in Rampur selected, called BHOT BAKKAL and BAHADURGANJ for new Mint Crop Distillation. At BHOT, the plant was of 8 tanks whereas at BAHADURGANJ, the plant was of 32 tanks.
6.1977 : Due to some drastic changes in Central Excise structure in India, Menthol Manufacturing facility closed and a new facility was created in Bhutan at Phuntsholing with the partnership between Govt. Of Bhutan and Mr. Subhash Nanda.
