The Company, MENTHA & ALLIED PRODUCTS LIMITED, is one of the India’s largest and oldest Menthol manufacturing Company with 100% family holding, was founded in the year 1970 by Late MR. N. L. Nanda and his eldest Son Mr. Subhash Nanda. At that time, India was a net Importer of Menthol for its domestic consumption. But somewhere in the year 1966, an American Company viz. RICHARDSON HINDUSTAN LIMITED (Now P&G), had started their efforts to develop Mentha Arvensis Crop in India. As such, our Company had entered into the trade as MENTHA OIL distiller, by establishing a Mint Crop Distillation plant in the main Crop Growing Area of that time, called SAMBHAL, which is situated about 190 km towards North of Delhi. At the time of beginning (1970), our Company had been selling Mentha Oil, obtained from the distillation process of Mint Crop to Richardson Hindustan Limited.
